In simple term Dominance of any product in his field is Brand equity
for example

If you want Toothpaste we prefer Colgate,
if you want water we prefer Bisleri,
insurance refer to LIC,
In India, BJP means Modi and Congress means Rahul Gandhi,
Brands are too dominant that they replace the product

  4. Medium of Communication
