MBA?

For me, MBA is not just a degree it's a Mindset. Having an MBA degree can be a base for a Good Career.

From childhood, I wanted to be an Entreprenur. So I did a research on MBA's in 2016-17 but what I found was totally beyond my expectation. So, I dropped the plan of having it.
I would like to share some info about it, this article is not meant to support any college or against anyone.

Myth about MBA

  • Money
 You will get 20-25 L package and  you will live a wonderful life ahead.

  • MBA means success
    MBA doesn't guaranty job
 


     If you are a student of average marks and general cast forget about IIM's .
      98% percentile is not enough for you  .

Let's now talk about some facts 


  • 5500 MBA college in India
  • India produces more than 5 lakhs  MBAs in(report of  2016-17)
  • only 7% of PassOut are actually employable in India Excepting graduates from IIMs
  • Only 20% of students from business schools land job offers
  • Apart from 20% , 2-3% of students  are employed but they don't like there own job.

In the last five years, the number of B-school seats has tripled. In 2015-16, these schools offered a total of 5,20,000 seats in MBA courses, compared to 3,60,000 in 2011-12.


While on an average each student spent nearly Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh on a two-year MBA programme, their monthly salary is a measly Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000.

My Personal View 

  • MBA has a broad scope but it takes Hardwork, if you are one of them go for it. 
  • Top college are important for placement.
  • If you can afford go for top 40 colleges.
  • If you have good score in CAT , don't depend on IIM's only.
  • Don't go for any college be choosy about your future.
  •  Average fees of colleges is about 4-8 Lakhs(2 year) use that money for your own startup work hard and learn by mistakes .
